Rooms: Schedule Games & Split the Court Bill

Rooms let you schedule sessions, track who's coming, and split court and ball costs fairly. Here's how to set one up in FOM Play.

Running a weekly game is half padel, half admin. Who’s coming? Did everyone pay? How much is it each this week? Rooms takes that whole second half off your plate.

What a Room is

A Room is a reusable event for your regular session. You set the date, time, venue, and how many spots there are, and it lives in one place instead of scattered across three group chats. Players RSVP so you know exactly who’s in before you show up.

Setting one up

  1. Create a Room and give it a name — “Thursday Padel”, say.
  2. Set the schedule, venue, and player capacity.
  3. Invite your crew. They can join, decline, or grab a spot if one opens up.
  4. When it’s game time, run the match straight from the Room.

Splitting the bill

Here’s the part hosts love. Turn on cost tracking, enter the court fee and ball cost, and FOM divides it fairly across everyone who actually showed up. No mental math, no “I’ll get you next time”, no chasing people for loose change.

Why it keeps the group together

The groups that last are the ones where showing up is easy and paying is painless. Rooms handle both, so your weekly game stays a weekly game instead of slowly falling apart over unpaid court fees. Set one up for your regular night and let it run itself.
